They gave us a car that has been given us problems ever since we got it and told us that it would be our responsibility after we got it if it broke down. How convinient how not even a month after we got the car it started breaking down constantly and even more after we took it for oil change at the dealership. We fixed things for 80% less of what the dealership place wanted us to pay for for their "service" to fix it. Never again will I ever go to Toyota for a car or any service there.

Our car has actually been recalled by its brand, Ford. Toyota said they didn’t know about the recall and that buying the warranty/services for a number of years on a car that is not Toyota won’t guarantee that they’ll fix it just because it is not from their brand. They’re salesman so they’re supposed to know this stuff. They said that they couldn’t find out when we found out online and by another dealership so I don’t see how they were pretending to be ignorant about such issue. So basically they’re making us pay more for something that they won’t even wanna do. Now I definitely won’t ever go to Toyota EVER! Especially if you’re looking to get a used car from Toyota, they’ll mess and lie to you.

Bought a 2016 Tundra that had only been used by the general manager of this store with 4,500 miles. I was told that I had bought a "New Truck" because it had been well taken care of by the dealership and that if I would find any issues later, after a better overview of the truck, just to call and I would be taken care of. I was promised a detailed car wash (never happened), touch up paint for some paint damage that had occurred before I bought the truck (got the run around for two months and they still haven't ordered it), and just recently I had a strong odor coming from my a/c vents. I immediately contacted the salesman who promised everything (Ross) and was told that the a/c condenser was dirty due to driving on dirt roads or due to bugs clogging it. I replied by saying that I have never driven the truck off road and that I have only accumulated 500 miles since I bought it two months ago. How does a 2016 Toyota Tundra TRD have get this issues so soon? I think I know the answer, use by the previous and only driver (general manager). So I asked if they would take care of the issue since I don't believe it was caused by my use of the truck and was told that I would have to pay about $100 to get it cleaned, no "and" "if" or "but". This is the first time I buy a vehicle from Del Rio Toyota and it will probably be the last. I have bought from other competitors before and have never had issues like this. I strongly suggest that you read reviews like this to make your shopping location a lot less hectic. I will try to continue get this issues fixed by contacting the general manager and will post an update ASAP.

Update:

The staff was friendly especially with our son. And they made it a point to give us they're best offer on what we wanted and what we could afford. Highly recommend Toyota of De Rio! Go Rams Go!

I enjoyed their professional sales crew. They answered all my questions and concerns. The showroom was filled with customers and all of them looked super relaxed. I trust this Dealership so much I took my mom there and she purchased a new 17 Highlander.

Absolutely sucks. I buy a car from there a year ago and have been to the service center several of times. Had my oil changed and tires rotated and they don't clean their mess up. After rotating the tires they never once till. Friday informed us the car is totaled. So in the past year my families life's have been in danger. The two back tires lean in words. Now what am I supposed to do. They won't even help us get in another car. I have a disabled daughter and we make a lot of trips to San Antonio. I am very pissed. Oh and on top of that. My brother went and got a car. Never told him that there was a recall on the transmission. He had the recall done but the transmission is still slipping. He is just a young 21 yr old that needs a good car and they screwed him over just like us. Not to mention the radio doesn't work in his car and he didn't know till he had already signed the papers. So they said they couldn't fix it. Never going there again. I do not recommend anyone to ever go there.
