I have had Mr. Pacheco work on Three of my vehicles. He was very up front with me about what was going on with them and the cost of the repairs to get my vehicles back on the road. He was very prompt as far as getting them back to me within a reasonable time. He did call me a few days later to make sure everything was working to my satisfaction. I highly recommended him to a friend and he is currently working on her car and keeps her updated on the progress. Very Good customer service .
A week goes by and I didn't want to be "that guy" and call immediately, so I gave him an extra few days. Finally I called and was told that he was still waiting on parts, which should be there in a couple days and the car will be ready in a week. Ok, I'll be patient and give it another week. Maybe it isn't his fault. So I wait a week, then two, and finally call again. I was given another excuse. Another week goes by, and now when I try calling him it just goes to voicemail. The next day I tried calling a couple times again and still nothing. I started getting an eerie feeling that maybe he is dodging my calls, so I try from my wife's phone and he picked up after the first ring. He sounded startled to hear me and gave me some other excuse.
Also when I got my truck from his shop the windshield was damaged and a few items inside the truck were broken. I highly recommend not to do business with this shop.
Cons: Couldn't reach them on the phone often, but had no problems when dropping by the shop.
Please message me with any questions.
BE ADVISED: I left my truck with Pacheco in February of 2016 and provided him with $4000 to perform the required repairs. For the first couple months he kept informing me that the repairs would be done soon. Then it came to a point where quit communicating with me. Last month, January 2017 (almost a year later), I decided to take my truck to a different mechanic who performed the work in 2 weeks. I still am unable to get in contact with Mr. Pacheco to get my $4000 refunded.
I don't often leave reviews, but this was the worst customer service I have ever experienced and feel obligated to warn other potential customers. I was stationed at Laughlin AFB when my car began making a strange clicking sound from one of the front wheels. I took my vehicle here and after taking Mr. Pacheco for a drive in my car, he informed me that the steering assembly probably needed to be replaced. I decided to have the suspension changed as well, and paid $1700 up front to have the work done. I was told initially that it would be done by the end of the week.
I moved to TX last year and didn't have A/C in my car. It hasn't been working for over a year and no mechanic I had talked to previously thought it was worth messing with. I wanted to keep this car until the wheels fell off. Took it to Pacheco and was pleased with the professionalism and honesty. He had the A/C working for a very reasonable price considering the work that was done. I was told that if anything went wrong to bring it back.
I had two friends both have terrible experiences with their cars. There was no communication on Pacheco's end, and it was extremely difficult for both friends to get a hold of anyone and get updates. One friend has his car in the shop for 3 months and eventually decided to tow it to San Antonio. When I found out my second friend was working with Worldwide Automotive, I warned her. She took her car from Pacheco and towed it to San Antonio after only 2 weeks. Pacheco seemed very personable and friendly, and both friends felt bad to not support a local business, but when your car doesn't get fixed...what are you supposed to do?
I could keep going, but to make a long story short my car was eventually ready a full 5 weeks after I dropped it off, after being told it would be ready in a few days. The worst part is that he was not at all apologetic. It was always just another excuse and he never once apologized for it taking so long. My steering was also never quite the same. It wouldn't as far left as it used to, so making a U-turn is now much more difficult.
Overall: very happy with the shop and employees that I talked with. Pacheco is a squared away guy that I would trust to work on my vehicle again.
