Main stores great, but lots of empty places.
It's a quaint little mall with most of your necessities therein. It's a shame that about 30% of the stores closed and remain vacant. This could discourage tourists from visiting.
Small Fry, Small Town, Zombie Mall. Are you at all familiar with the Dead Malls blog? Well, I'm not sure this really counts, since it's unclear as to whether there was ever a heyday for this mall. If cheap clothing and old cell phones are your thing, you might find some semblance of a shopping experience. Del Rio isn't really a metropolitan source of commerce to begin with, so save your cash (or pesos,) and stick to the movie theater. The food court wasn't really worth writing about.
The arcade, Rue 21, Lids, Footlocker have all closed down. There's nothing but empty spaces in this mall. Soon Melrose will be out of there too. How can we keep our money here in Del Rio if there's no where to shop? Eagle Pass has why more places to shop!
The only thing we have is jcpenney,marshalls,children's place,beals, and ross to shop at.
