I completely agree with Adam Powell. The pizza here is really, really, good, and I consistently bring people from base here; however, I won't anymore. The same server who usually works there (white guy, dark hair, speaks roughly two words to you) is so extremely rude that it makes me never want to come back. I haven't the slightest clue as to why he's still working there, because I know more than a dozen people just on base who no longer eat there due to his service. He is condescending, patronizing, and just rude.
On a good note, I have spoken with the cook (guy, quick to smile) when I went to pay, and he was super nice. Almost made me forget that the waiter had just spent my entire meal either ignoring me or being short and rude.
I don’t live in Del Río, but if i did i would definitely make it a regular. The second i walked in i didn’t know what to expect but soon after i met the waiter i loved it. The pizza and service was amazing. I reccomend it to anyone who wants good pizza!
We've been across America from Virginia to Alaska and here in Del Rio we finally found the best pizza that even beets my homemade pizza... worth it!
My family and I travelled around the US for almost a year and this pizza was the best anywhere. And, my wife is from NJ, where she is sure to tell everyone that they know pizza in NJ. What a wonderful surprise to have pizza made with such love. We knew that this was special after the first bite. After we told the waiter how great the pizza was, he told the cook, who happened to be the owner, Lou. Turns out that Lou knows good pizza, and, he went to New York to study from pizza masters. He even bought an Italian-made pizza oven, shipped it from Italy to make his pizza. Not what you expect so far south in Texas, but what an awesome experience. I challenge anyone to not love this place, this pizza, and this passionate man.
The service was great when a certain waiter was there... but the pizza is consistently awesome! Try their version of a supreme! If you don't like jalapenos be sure to ask to hold or remove because they are nicely hot. If you're okay with no meat on your pizza The Queen is an incredible new taste you ought to try. You'll be happy you did!
