Very good size apartments, they accept pets which is great for me.
Maybe occupancy is running high right now because certain factors, but this situation is not going to last very long. Perhaps then the management company who owns the place will try to be more pleasing.
One tenant told me that he wouldn't be surprised if this property turned Section 8. He's been here 3 years and is dissatisfied with her either. Another told me that she does nothing about the neighbors who decide to play at 12:30 at night.
The staff is super friendly. They care about your needs and what you're looking for in a home. Whenever I go into the office, I feel welcome and cared about.
I've been living in Stonegate for seven years and have had mostly positive experiences. That being said, the new management company is appalling, and I would not advise anyone else to move here. The grounds are getting pretty dingy, and I've waited weeks for some service requests (that has gotten better very recently though). Perhaps most disappointing of all, the new company does not allow you to cancel your lease for ANY reason. Says right on there job transfer, involuntary school transfer, death in the family - none qualifies as a reason to get out of your lease, even with a penalty. You still have to pay the whole damn thing. And they also require not 30, but 60 days notice not to renew your lease when the term is up. Given that the majority of people who live in the complex are military personnel, it's clear they're attempting to trap them in the lease, even if they get transferred. It's just an unethical business practice. Just my two cents and a warning on the terrible new leasing terms.
By far the worst manager I have ever encountered and I am not the only tenant who complains. At least tenants who lived here for a while expressed their discontent with the manager. Look at reviews recently not from 2 and 3 years. I agree with those who reviewed most recently. I have never encountered anything like this. The grounds are not cleaned on time, the pool was full of hundred of dark roaches/beetles floating around. Now they sunk to the bottom of the pool, and she is elated that the vacuum pulled them down. Never thought about cleaning them all the way.
The neighborhood is very quiet and feels safe.
For months, I've asking to get the dead roaches outside the adjacent apartment swept and even asked for broom to sweep it myself. Finally it was done because I came to the office and insisted she sent somebody now.
definitely the best apartments in Del Rio. They are in a nice part of town, and are well taken care of. Mostly law enforcement and Air Force live here.
Great and friendly staff. Comfortable apartments located in a nice neighborhood. Would recommend to anyone to check them out
She's a world class procrastinator, a woman who is full of excuses why she wouldn't, couldn't, won't and don't, a woman who conceals information from the management company who owns the place, but is confidant enough to sarcastically let you know that she's not afraid because the owners understand her.
For me it has been amazing since day 1.
I wish it was gated and had carports, but the other amenities (pool and gym) are nice
They recently changed Management and from my perspective things are better with this new Management (not that they were bad with the previous one).
