The exterior? Think of the Patrick Swayze film 'Road House' the outside of Diamond Lil's looks like the Double Deuce minus the lights, people, and mullets.
Beers are cheap and there are regular specials. Sometimes there is a cover ($5 or $10). The place is almost always empty. The most packed I've ever seen it is about 1/4 capacity. The dress is 'come as you are' (this place is not fancy). The clientele is all Latino and some white people. There are a bunch of pool tables (75 cents a game), a couple of TVs, and a dance floor that rarely gets used.
