I placed an order on-line for flowers to be delivered in Del Rio for a birthday, which was the next day. When I called to verify the delivery, I found there had been some problem and my on-line order had not been received by the folks at Sugar & Spice. They took the order over the phone, gave me a complimentary upgrade, and delivered the flowers within 90 minutes. Definitely recommend using them. And I will call in the order next time.
Sugar and Spice did my wedding reception in Del Rio in 6/2012. Ana, the owner, seemed willing to do what I needed, but somewhat absent in our interactions. Jessica, one of the employees, really helped get my decorations to exactly what I needed them to be. She was willing to play around with several different options and take the time to understand what I wanted for the wedding. Watch them with flowers, as they tend to recommend the cheapest flowers that will work for your arrangement--also, stand your ground regarding the flowers you want. I specifically told them no daisies and daisies showed up in the "practice" arrangement and she almost ordered them for the actual arrangements. The day of the reception, during set up the staff was very professional and even helped me set up additional pictures, thank you cards, bubbles, etc. that were used at each place setting.
Called in a order from San Antonio for a funeral in Del Rio. I explained what I was looking for and given good suggestions. Order came out wonderful. Thank you for the picture!
