I went in to make a last minute purchase of dress to wear to a wedding. I was assisted by a polite young lady and then also by the owner. The owner agreed to the sell the dress to me and do the alterations the same day so I could use the dress at the wedding on the next day. She had me pay for the dress (my mistake!!!). I was impressed and left expecting that I would receive the services and product I paid for. I was wrong. I didn't receive the dress and therefore couldn't wear it to the wedding. I am still fighting this business for a refund via the Better Business Bureau. Here's hoping they come out on the the other side of this as a better business. I know I will never shop there again.
WARNING!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE UNLESS THEY HAVE THE DRESS YOU'RE WALKING OUT WITH!!!! AND DON'T TRUST THEM WITH ALTERATIONS!!!! I'm new to Del Rio. I went to Edwards to find a dress for my niece's birthday. Being a veteran of buying formal dresses I knew I had to buy in advance to allow for ordering. I found a dress and was told it would arrive within 4 weeks. I was elated because that meant I had two weeks to get the dress hemmed before the party which would be easy. Four weeks later I never got a call and decided to call to get an estimated time of arrival. I then come to find out my dress has been there for about a week and I hadn't been notified. Then they tell me the horrific news that the wrong size was sent! I rushed to the store and the owner told me to look at other dresses but if I didn't like any he would free of charge alter the dress a size down to fit. I didn't find a dress so he pinned the dress to fit me and told me it would be ready in a week. I was so relieved. A week later no phone call so I called to find out that he hasn't even started on the dress. Since there are no refunds and I paid in advance I had to pick another dress that I didn't care for. Worst part of it all I actually sent them business before they screwed me. Do yourself a favor and go to Laredo or San Antonio for all your formal needs!!!!
